Ok, after a few delays our debut 7" is out on March 20th on Brille Records/Brille 7's. You can buy 'Pangs of Guilt' b/w 'Neutrino' from most record shops. If you can't find it you can order it in from any HMV, Pure Groove etc.
Here's a cool review of the single from this weeks Artrocker magazine...
"The Bridge Gang should be feeling pangs of joy, not guilt! Joy of being rather good. Very good in fact. Vocals that could rival Frank Black, stabbing guitars and drumbeats that would have you marching faster than if I was to poke you with a stick – all boil down to sledgehammer-smashing songs. ‘Pangs of Guilt’ is furiously chipper while track 2, ‘Neutrino’, is a flurry of choppy vocals. Both incite an urge to join this exciting new gang. Practice your angular dancing, perfect you jumps and polish your yelps because no doubt you’ll need them as The Bridge Gang set forth their short, slick infectious ditties upon the world!" - Angela Balakrishnan – Artrocker
You can catch us live tomorrow night at the Spread Eagle in Shoreditch, it's free to get in and we're on at 9.00.

Hey, just a quick note to say thanks to everyone who came to our single launch last Friday. We were really gobsmacked with the turnout, it was brilliant. And special thanks to Good Shoes for DJing and Manic Cough for agreeing to play at the last minute.
Our website is kind of under construction right now so you might notice the live dates page going out of date now and again. The best place to check for our gigs is at our myspace page (www.myspace.com/thebridgegang).
Lastly, you can read a review of our gig with Bromhead's Jacket last month here...

On Friday we played at the Montague Arms with Bromhead's Jacket, it was pretty mad, apologies to anyone who came along but didn't get in. I don't think i've ever seen so many upturned collar polo shirts in one room!
In other news we have badges for people that want them. They look very, very cool. If you've got a non London address just send us an email and we'll post you one. If you've got a London address come to a gig and ask for one.
Release date for our debut single on Brille 7's is March 6th, keep an eye on these pages for the possibility of more info...

Our next live adventure is on Friday the 10th of February at St Martins College in Holborn, London. It's free to get in so there's no excuses for not making it.

Earlier tonight we played at the Albany Theatre in Deptford, which has the biggest stage we've ever played on, there were massive dressing rooms there and everything. We played pretty badly it has to be said, Bret even managed to split his finger open during our set. But luckily the Little Bridges were there in full force to pull us through.

Our next live outing will be at the Luminaire, Kilburn on the 21st September.

Hello, here's a great review from SoundsXP of our gig at the Hope and Anchor recently.
http://www.soundsxp.com/2083.shtml
In other press related news, we were shocked to discover none other than RollingStone expressing their appreciation for The Bridge Gang! As well as their appreciation for Lucy, our bass player. Here's what they said...
"Other demos currently in heavy rotation on our manly 60gb iPods include four fired-up neo-post-punk ditties from the sexiest bass player -- erm, band -- in London, the Bridge Gang. Highly recommended for those of you for whom Jack White's marimbas don't quite cut it in the Rawk! Department."
We will update the reviews section of our site soon. Also look out for some new live photos on the site very soon.
